The Train Is Leaving the Station

When you have a ticket to ride on a train to another destination, you have a small window of time, and you have to commit to getting on the train before it leaves the station. If you miss the train, all you can do is watch it and know you are not going where it is headed. If you make the train, you trust it will take you to the specified location and just ride it out in faith. Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus in Ephesians 5:15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. God is not "static", but He is always working His will in our lives and in this world. You are an important part of His ways, and Jeremiah spoke to the movement of God in very personal terms
Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days, when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. God has an awesome plan, and we need to get on His train to the destination He has planned for each of us, and we call it God's will, and it is perfect. Do you know anything more perfect than God's plans? I don't, but sometimes I forget to check the schedule in God's word, and Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me that God is very fluid in HIs plans and I need to be fluid as well.
God knows where we need to go next because He has made plans for us, and those plans give us a future and a hope. We access those plans through prayer because God is listening. One stipulation in the above verses is that we need to look for Him and His plans wholeheartedly, and then we will find Him and His plans. Total commitment. Go for it!! I love to watch videos of the base jumpers who jump off with their wing suits and then they guide themselves through the mountain passes using the wind to lift them above the ground. Of course, I am too chicken to do what they do, but it looks cool when they do it. That first jump they take must have a little fear involved, but then they learn how to soar high above the ground and experience a super freedom that draws them back for more jumps, but with the knowledge of how to ride the wind. The prophet Isaiah got a word from God about this cool way of living in Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Take the leap, and God will lift you up to keep you from crashing if you let Him be the power that gives you lift. Time to get on the train, because it is leaving, and God has laid out a better destination for your faith walk, and He will get you there. Let him "punch your ticket" and get with it. Time is wasting, and the wind is calling. So fly!!!
