Sacred As to the Lord

Consecration (def) - the action of making or declaring something, typically a church, sacred. As our world continues to spiral downward into ungodly and confusing directions, those who have the Holy Spirit in their lives are faced with the temptation to "just let everything go." Praise God He won't release us to follow this evil and weak way of living. You can tell when believers have been beaten down to the point of compromise when we hear the words "oh well' said again and again. If you have been duped into saying those words and living that kind of life, then today is the day that needs to end!! The first way our enemy will try to lull us to sleep is in our attitude toward God Almighty. The enemy will try to get us to doubt that God even works anymore, and cause us to want "proof" that He is still alive and working. The next thing the enemy will try to do is get us to believe in false traditions that we call truth. Traditions have been looked at by a younger generation as a dead way of living our faith and the many that are Biblical and true are thrown out in the "wash" with the ones that are not Biblical. The term "throw the baby out with the wash" applies here, and the intent is to just "chuck" the whole thing out and that is wrong.
To lose that which is Sacred to the Lord waters down the truth of God and asking the questions is ok, but when that is done with the wrong attitude the baby can be thrown out with the wash. We kill the truth of God because some other unbiblical traditions have been mixed in, and we lose the point of consecation. I have heard some say we shouldn't use the word "saved" because it is not a modern word and could drive those searching for salvation away from the church. How ridiculous!! Acts 4:12 is very pointed about "being saved" and the scripture is as follows. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Take out the word saved and you take out the salvation for our souls!! Satan loves believers who deny the consecrated Word of God and put in their own thoughts about it. God doesn't need our opinions, even though those who give their opinions believe theirs are the only truth. WRONG!
I want to keep the sacrifice of Jesus sacred and honor what God did by giving His Son in death for my sins. How about you? Paul wrote these words to Titus in Titus 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. We need not deny the sacredness of the Word of God and what it must do in growing us in our faith. If we try to "humanize" it we just water it down and make it less effective. OUR FAULT!! Lift up the Word of God and follow it alone and all else will fall into place. Let consecration have its full effect in your life and the Holy Spirit will show you more and more of who God is and what He wants you to believe. Water it down and you will miss more and more perfect truth and thus lose the full effect of consecration in your life. We use the word "sanctification" a lot, but we forget the effect of true consecration of God in our lives. Consecration is that part that can only be done by God and His holiness, and that is where find and learn from the Holy Spirit how to live. There is a good chance all of that will not line up with the world's way of thinking.
