Impartial and Loving

It seems we at times are so consumed about ourselves and the ME trumps the desire to help or love others. True wisdom from God throws a bigger trump card in the mix and in James 3:17-18 James says 17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. To be impartial is a sign of wisdom from God and sets into motion a level playing field for all and that playing field, as James says, is "peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others". To set that kind of tone always wins and that Godly wisdom is a direct reflection of the righteousness of God and that is what God wants. God wants us to plant seeds of peace and then we will reap a harvest of righteousness and that sets a precedent of true Godly love.

To say this wisdom and righteousness comes "from on high" is a super true statement. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. EVERYTHING YOU NEED!! As we can see Everything We Need is wrapped up in the package of seeking God and His righteousness. Our righteousness and our wisdom doesn't mean much, but God's, yes God's wisdom and righteousness means everything. This access to a new way of living and thinking is made possible through the barrier Christ broke when He gave His life on the cross. Paul wrote to the church at Galatia this way in Galatians 2:16 Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” A true realization of the grace of God shows us just how much we CAN'T do and how much Christ CAN do in and through us. Philippians 3:9. says 9 and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. I like the part where it says "one with God."

1 Corinthians 1:30 now makes so much more sense for us in our daily walk. 30 God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. Don't you just love how "real" and "complete" God's Word is and how much it all fits together for us to not only read but also live by. I think we should definitely let it be our guide for our lives. HEY LOOK. I JUST SHOWED SOME WISDOM.....WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!! IT'S ALL GOD!! Our Impartial and loving God.....Oh that we would see others with His eyes!!!
