His Sacred Thread

Connections are important, and the most sacred connection for a lost and dying world is the thread that God weaved throughout His plan to redeem mankind through the birth, death, and resurrection of His son, Jesus the Christ. In thinking about how sacred this thread of time is, we realize God's plan was perfect in every way as He announced through His prophets what was going to happen, and He put every piece of the puzzle together perfectly. God defied human reasoning through the birth of Jesus as a baby from a human's womb, and then let the one who was born grow up into a man, who was sacrificed on a cross for sinners like you and me.
Our connection to this thread is the way that God offers this salvation to us personally, and the experience of being born again also defies human understanding.
as we see the words of Nicodemus when Jesus explained it to him. John 3: 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” Jesus' birth was a physical birth, but our rebirth was a spiritual birth. We are connected to God, and our understanding of the incredible change in our lives is because of God's grace that we receive through faith. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [l]this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Jesus was born, and He is alive today, and He is coming again for all who have received Him. The sacred Thread was woven by God from the beginning, and the end of this beginning will be when Jesus takes us home to paradise. Where are you in all of this, and where do you fall in the process of this sacred thread? Today we say Merry Christmas, and one day we will see Jesus face to face and fall on our knees and worship Him, and that day will be the day we receive the culmination of this sacred thread woven by God. Receive the gift of eternal life today by receiving Jesus as Savior, and you will not only look at and perceive the sacred thread, but you will be "part" of this eternal thread woven by God.
Merry Christmas and Praise God for His Sacred Thread.
The Pilgrimage Continues,
