Denial vs Acknowledge

Denial (def) - the action of declaring something to be untrue. Jesus spoke these words in Matthew 10:32: “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. The very action of denying something to be untrue is what we are living with right now in our world. The world says that there are many ways to salvation, and we, as Christians, can voice the truth of the Word of God and acknowledge that Jesus is the only way to salvation. But will we? It is a strong offense to deny publicly the Word of God and the truth of Jesus being the only way to salvation. There are many gods, but only one true God and His name is Jesus. For those God has redeemed, we have been given the Holy Spirit to affirm the fact and proclaim it!! But do we?

If we are static or silent in our faith, the world will rush over us with evil and false knowledge. That knowledge will deny Jesus from being who He said He was and thus lead people down the path to hell. We must acknowledge the "fact" that Jesus gave His life and was buried and praise God resurrected on the third day. O praise the Name of Jesus, our Savior. He is the only way to salvation! This truth cannot be denied. So don't listen or contribute to ANY denial of the fact, and GO and acknowledge that Jesus is Lord.

In Acts 4 Peter and John took a strong stand in the midst a group of "religious" people who did not believe the truth that God heals and God saves. Here are the verses. Acts 4: While Peter and John were speaking to the people, they were confronted by the priests, the captain of the Temple guard, and some of the Sadducees. These leaders were very disturbed that Peter and John were teaching the people that through Jesus there is a resurrection of the dead. They arrested them and put them in jail until morning since it was already evening. But many of the people who heard their message believed it, so the number of men who believed now totaled about 5,000. They were put in jail for acknowledging the truth that there is the resurrection of the dead, but it did not stop them from proclaiming the truth. In Acts 3, you can read about a healed man who had been lame for over 40 years. The beggar came to Peter asking for alms, but Peter looked him in the eye and said, "Stand up and walk." Guess what happened? Peter helped him up, and his feet and ankles were strengthened, and he stood up and walked and praised God and ran into the temple.

If you want to have a growing, revival-centered church, turn loose the power of God, and lives will be saved. Then, those who come to church will almost break down the doors to get into the sanctuary to praise the Lord. When the Spirit of God moves, and we acknowledge it, there will not be large enough churches to house what God is doing. The key is acknowledging that God is working and believing. Peter preached repentance, and over 5000 "men" were saved!! Yes SAVED! Acts 4: 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Are you scared of that word? Don't be. Paul wrote this to the church in Ephesus in Ephesians 2:8: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Those religious leaders wanted to deny that God is a miracle worker, and that was the very first sign of "wokeness." There was a problem, though. The man who was healed was well known to be lame, and he was standing there in front of them. Acts 4: 16 “What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it. 17 But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.” There's the "kicker." They would let Peter and John off if they quit acknowledging Jesus, and so what happened? Peter and John left and proclaimed even louder that Jesus was the only way to salvation!!

Will you deny the existence of the power of God, or will you acknowledge that His power is real and evident? You must decide because His church must stand up and acknowledge the King of Kings. Why? Because that's my King!!! If anybody needs to come out of the prayer closet, it is those who are born again—time to proclaim it and not be ashamed. No more denying or apologizing, or compromising because God will not be denied. He will only be acknowledged, and those who acknowledge Him will be with Him in glory. You can figure out the destination of the others. Matthew 10:32 says, “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.
