Created With Purpose

Too many of us who are born again are adrift in our walk with Jesus. When we are born again in the Spirit, we are changed at our core and made for more. Hey, that rythmes!

Paul speaks to the change in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. If we are born again in the Spirit, guess what? We are made new and we are in Jesus and He is in us. From there on we are on mission for God, and that mission is to proclaim the gospel message to everyone we can.

Paul said it this way in Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Jesus is our life, and that is as good as it gets. When I am "in" Christ, I am "in" the place I need to be. This is to be our life and this life is a life filled with abundance and purpose. Peter called us to that higher purpose in 1 Peter 2:But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. This also means to be called out of the "ways" of the world, and into the "way" of Jesus. There we find our purpose.

Sure, we will face some tough times, but those times are not the norm and they will not last because God is watching and working, and He doesn't send us on mission just to desert us. Proverbs 15:The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Watching the evil and the good.

Our God provides, protects, and gives real purpose to our lives, and that purpose is something that impacts in a mighty way in our lost world. Don't let anyone talk down to you as a Christian, because you are the child of the King, and the one Jesus dies for on the cross. You have great worth because God gives you that worth. Receive it and live in it!

John Wesley stated a strong statement about the purpose of those who are in Christ and these are his very words. I want the whole Christ for my Savior, the whole Bible for my book, the whole Church for my fellowship, and the whole world for my mission field.  I agree!
