Isaiah 53: Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?2 My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.3 He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. 4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.
What a beautiful exchange; our sins for His righteousness! In the exchange a lot took place and I have listed some of it below so we keep a good memory of all that took place,
Jesus lived a human life, even though He is God. He grew up from a child to an adult.
Jesus was despised and rejected by the people He came to save.
We turned our backs on Him and continue to turn our backs today.
In our weakness, He carries the weight of our sorrows.
Jesus was pierced for OUR transgressions.
Jesus was crushed for our sins.
Jesus was beaten so we could be made whole.
Jesus was whipped so we could be healed.
When we stray Jesus is the one who gives us grace for our sins and makes us righteous before God the Father.
We leave God's plan to follow our own ways, and the Lord lays on Him the sins of us all.
We live in pure freedom today because of JESUS!!
Oh, praise His name!!!
What more can He do to cause us to accept this beautiful exchange daily. Get in Gods Word and find out more about this great Savior and the truth of this Beautiful Exchange and live in it today and realize the abundant life promised by Jesus. John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. Don't let the enemy rob you of experiencing this Beautiful Exchange. Live in the result of the perfect Son of God dying for our sins. It is such A Beautiful Exchange!!
Vesselogical Out,
David Warren
