Wireless or Wired

ree

In all my years of singing, I have had the choice of wireless mics or wired mics. Wireless mics have a receiver back at the sound board, and when turned on, they are searching for an RF signal to connect to that receiver. A wired mic is plugged straight into the board via a microphone cable. On the wireless mic, if there is no good connection or some interference, the signal will not make a connection, and no sound will be heard. With a wired mic, you depend on a good mic cable, and there will be no interference to keep sound from coming through.

As believer's our prayer connection is perfect because God has taken all interference out of the way through the blood of Jesus. We are connected, and He is listening. If we haven't talked to or listened to God in a while, we might think the connection is lost, but it isn't. God is always watching and always listening, and He wants to spend time with us, and the connection is good. The Psalmist illustrates this connection wonderfully in Psalms 18::But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help.

He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. King David wrote this Psalm when God delivered him from Saul and protected him.

When connecting to God in prayer, it is always best to pray your prayer in Jesus' Name, and we know that God hears us because Jesus makes the connection clear and strong. God's receiver is always on, and the prayer we cry out is heard by our loving Lord, but He also sees us in our planned quiet times and Bible Study, and that connection is even stronger because His Word is involved to make that connection as clear as possible for the seeker. Here is what Jesus said to do in light of this wonderful connection with our heavenly Father. Matthew 7:“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives.

Another way of connecting with God is through singing, and Psalms 96 says it this way Psalms 96: Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Proclaiming the truth of God is a sure sign of growth and a step forward in our faith, and that connection shows our signal is strong and His receiver is even stronger.
