Trade in That Old Clunker!
Updated: Dec 22, 2020

Isaiah 43:18 “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. 19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
I have seen where people have said that Christianity is outdated and archaic and not applicable to today's world and I just have to laugh!!! The freshest thing going right now IS God!! It is our lack of believing God for a new thing that holds us back from getting on the God Train. God is not only applicable for today, but for the days to come. Our lack of getting into His plan is the problem. So forget what is behind and look forward to what God is going to do in the days ahead, because it is going to be awesome!! Isaiah prophesied it and I believe it!
Time to quit looking at the glass being half empty and time to start looking at it being half full and we do that with a Godly perspective. We serve the God who made the whole universe, so it should generate a great faith that believes that God is getting prepared to do a great new work! We don' t think like people who don't believe God. We think like people who believe that God can do anything. So get your positive pants on and begin to pray for a great awakening in the church and that it impacts the world as never before. Our God is the all powerful one who can do anything and all we have been through in 2020 is a precursor to Him doing an even greater work in the days ahead.
If you have been lamenting over the past happenings in 2020, it is time to Trade that Old Clunker in and get a fresh God-sized perspective for the days ahead. Our God has not deserted us, but I believe He has poised us for a glorious day of victory that will possibly cause all past awakenings to pale in the glow of the great work He is going to do. So get on board in this new, awesome vehicle of revival and "catch the wave!" It is already happening. God has done the work in the background and we need to grasp the opportunities that God has made possible through the tough times of 2020.

This new vehicle may include new things we don't easily accept, but don't be a fuddy duddy. Accept this new way of ministering and see what God can do with obedient people who live their lives "in the flow" of God's fresh work. Just like the phrase that the group that filmed The Chosen series uses "Get Used to Different!" Since when does different mean something bad. That reasoning is reserved for useless, visionless, pointless, faithless, people who don't really believe God can do anything new. I have no time for that kind of reasoning and will not ride in that old clunker anymore. I want to get on the Jet Stream with God and be at the tip of the movement so I can experience all that God is going to do to reach more and more people for Jesus Christ. Plus I love that new car warranty. Don't you?
The Pilgrimage continues.....
