Nothing But Sinners

Why would God choose to use sinners like you and me? His love and His desire to have a relationship with us are beyond compare. Man's weak way of reaching out to God is enemic and lacking, but God reaching out to His creation is powerful, eternal, and real. In Romans 3, Paul speaks to the sin problem the world has and addresses it with a need for man to get right with God. First of all, man's eternal problem. Romans 3:10 as it is written:
“There is no righteous person, not even one;11 There is no one who understands, There is no one who seeks out God;12 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, There is not even one.”13 “Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,”“The venom of asps is under their lips”;14 “Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”;15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood,16 Destruction and misery are in their paths,17 And they have not known the way of peace.”18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” This is who we are. We are evil at our core, and we need help.
God fixed everything, and Paul also addresses the hope we have in God's response to our sin. Romans 3: 21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished; 26 for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Summary. We are hopeless sinners, and God has sent Jesus to make us right before Him, to bridge the chasm between me, a sinner, and our Holy God. God exchanges my sinful life for His righteousness through the blood of His perfect Son. The Law of Moses brought death, but the grace of God gives me the hope of salvation, and even though I am nothing but a sinner, God makes me right and completes the requirement of the Law forever. Romans 3: 31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? Far from it! On the contrary, we establish the Law. Jesus did this through the ultimate and eternal sacrifice for all who are sinners, and that is the whole world! We are Nothing But Sinners, and Jesus is completely our Savior. Praise God!! 1 Peter 2:24 and He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.
What are we to do? Live in the righteousness of God and the Word of God will explode into your consciousness like a wonderful bomb, blowing up your human way of thinking and replacing it with a Godly way of living. It is all very clear in the Word of God, and Paul summarizes it all in the following words in 2 Corinthians 5: 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
