Look out!

Writer: David WarrenDavid Warren

Jeremiah 29:11-13. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.12 In those days when you pray, I will listen.13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

We all make plans don't we? I am so much on making plans and I do all the prep work before in preparation for what is planned. Of course, usually all of that changes before I even get to what I planned. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus says 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So many believers are going through trials that are really stretching their faith and we sometimes lose sight of the above scripture in Jeremiah. We are thinking about our plans and dreams, but lose sight that God has a great plan for each of us as well. As the scripture says, I know the plans I have for you!! The maker of the universe has plans for me? A thinking person might think "I need to get into those plans because they will be perfect for me." By the way, the plans of God are for good and not for disaster and those plans give us a future and a hope. Scripture just sayin....

But when things are not going so well we sometimes doubt that God's plan is the best for me. But it is. Or at least that's what God says! The above verse goes on to say that when we are in those days God will listen when you pray. Just keep in mind those days are apparently days of good things with much future and hope. Which means that God also plans out our days for us and His plan is much better than ours. He will also see that we are wholehearted in our desire to live for Him and that is pleasing to God.

As you can see this whole thing fits together as only God can make it fit together and His road map for you and me is clear and distinct, but look for it!! The answers are all found in the Bible, God's Word, and His perfect plan will come into focus quickly as you continue to deepen your relationship and walk with Him. So many believers miss this and are not looking for God's perspective for their life and then they begin to try to live off their own weak impressions about what is best for their life. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE! That is pretty much it and you will find Him if you will just Look Out!!

The Pilgrimage continues......
