Life Worth Living

More and more I hear the expression "I just don't have any purpose" and it shows the discontent of the world's way for having meaning in your life. Paul wrote to the church in Rome and in Romans 8:12-17 Paul writes 12 So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh—13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Jesus gives us a "life Worth Living" and now Jesus is "family." vs.15 but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!

We are no longer orphans, but we are children of God. That is so awesome!! So those who are hopeless cannot experience this close relationship with God. And our intimate relationship with God comes through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. To know God the Father as Abba Father," daddy" is so precious and gives us hope for today and bright promise for tomorrow. In Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus, he wrote in 1:18-20 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

It cannot be put any more plain than that. With Jesus, this is a Life Worth Living. So get on with it. Jesus is calling you to live for Him and study God's Word to find His plan for your life.
