LED lights

A few years ago, LED lights were born, and it is amazing to me how a light can be so strong and clear and not create any heat when on. The following information is taken from an explanation of the action that takes place to make an LED light work. It is very interesting. An LED (Light-Emitting Diode) works by passing an electric current through a semiconductor chip, exciting electrons that then release energy as photons (light particles) when they recombine with "holes," a process called electroluminescence, making them highly efficient light sources that don't use filaments like old bulbs. The specific semiconductor materials and energy levels determine the color, with white light often made by combining different colors or coating a blue LED with phosphor.
This process if a great illustration of how God's light shines through us in the darkness and just how important it is to "let our lights so shine before men." Jesus said it this way in Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
What keeps the light from being emitted in an LED? If there is no release of the photons or light particles, there will not be electroluminescence or light. What keeps our light from shining brightly? When the Lord's light is kept in us, the light of the Lord is compromised, so we should let it go and let God shine through us, because it is not us, IT IS GOD. We should do everything we can to let the light be pure and rid ourselves of any of the world in our thinking, our words, or our lifestyle. The dark world can be lit by God's people letting His light shine and holding back nothing. It changes our walk, our worship, and our will. Lean into God and let His light shine through you, and you will be the purest, strongest, and most powerful light possible. You will be a LIGHT EMITTING DIODE.
