Jesus, The Real

I hear of more and more Christians who are questioning their faith in the midst of an

ever-changing world. Some are wondering," Is Jesus God?, and is He still at work in His followers' lives? The answer to both questions is yes. Jesus is God, and He is still at work in His followers, but His followers are compelled by Jesus to ask, seek, and knock and never stop doing those three. The writer of Hebrews spoke of Jesus in the following verses in Hebrews 1:1 Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.

Jesus cleansed us from our sins, gave us the abundant life, and He radiates God's glory and expresses the very character of God. Jesus is God. Is the throne of Jesus lasting? Once again, the writer of Hebrews writes in Hebrews 1:But to the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.  You rule with a scepter of justice. You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.” The Psalmist said this in Psalms 46: God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Jesus is real, and He is very present help in times of trouble, so do not fear, and do not doubt. Jesus is far more real and lasting than anything we see on this earth. He is Jesus, the Real.
