A New Creation Is Created!

2 Corinthians 5:16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

As we look at the above scripture, there are some questions that deserve asking. First off, what is the old? That means the 'old man" or natural man, who is a man of sin and depravity. We are called to walk away from that man and let the "new me" take over, because the new me has Jesus as my life. In John 10, Jesus spoke of the new man He makes us, and this new man is a spiritual man. John 10: 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The old man is set in his ways, and the father of lies is in control, and that control is strong, the need for a "new creation" that is Holy Spirit-infused and Holy Spirit-led. If it freaks you out a bit to think that being a new creation means the Holy Spirit is now in control, don't despair. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and in that truth, we find the direction to live this abundant life, and the father of lies is no longer in control.

In verse 16, we see that the result of this new creation is that we regard no one from a worldly point of view. We are called to look at life through the eyes and mind of a new direction that is holy and pleasing to our God. Paul wrote this to the church in Rome in Romans 12:Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will. The pattern of this world is no longer the pattern we live by, and that means we must have a moldable heart because when the Holy Spirit is in control, everything changes. No more defeated human reasoning, only Spiritual understanding and positive life plans that are controlled by Jesus, our redeemer. Satan will try to get in on your way of thinking, but everything he says is a LIE, and it is against our good judgment provided by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Are you moldable? You have the perfect Savior ready to guide you to new heights you never thought possible. Don't let satan and weak Christians talk you out of trusting Jesus and all He promises.

Give your whole life to the Lord, and you will see certain sins that used to rule don't rule anymore. John wrote this in 1 John 2: 1My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

You will notice the absence of the word "might' in the above scriptures, which denotes certainty. You are a new creation. I watch some YouTube shows where these guys will take old cars that are rusty and not even running, and remake the whole thing like new. One guy named Chip Foose will make everything "like" new, butttttt it is not "new." The new creation God builds is "brand new" and spiritually powered, and it does not look or act the same. That is who we are when we are born-again, so we don't follow the world or look like the world anymore, and we are now ambassadors to a lost world with the new life and message of the gospel. So let your life "preach," and you will see absolute miracles happen as lives are transformed and made new!!! Because the greatest miracle is a sinner saved by God's grace, and we carry this grace with us wherever we go. All of this happens when we become a new creation.
