Who Is He?

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this who comes from Edom, With garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength?

“It is I, the One who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.” Our God is mighty to save and He does save! Praise God who in the midst of our sin did not give us what we deserve, but through His great mercy and compassion gave His only Son so that we might have life and miss eternal death and hell. God's righteousness called for a sacrifice to stop His vengeance and God supplied through His Son and righteous sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. Never forget what Jesus did for the sins of the world and how he let that kind of love be given to each of us so that we might flourish as we offer this great hope to a lost and dying world. Yes, the world is lost. Yes, the world is dying. Jesus is the ONLY hope for this world and if you have been born again you have this great expression of forgiveness in your life.

1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time,7 having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.9 So resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brothers and sisters who are in the world.10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen. We humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and in time we will also be exalted! This Jesus made us right with our creator and we live in the wonderful grace that only God can give. Our enemy the devil would like to minimize our thinking about this wonderful grace, but God firmly establishes it when we receive His righteousness and we take on a whole new way of thinking that is directed by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

To live in the power of God is to live with the realization that we are SAVED only by His grace. God's mighty hand protects us, guides us, challenges us, and renews us as only He can do. Who Is He? His name is Jesus.
